BiographyLadyQueen is a Midwest recording artist hailing from Hammond, Indiana, with music mostly in the genre of R&B. Growing up in a family of singers, LadyQueen always wanted to be a singer herself. Practicing in the mirror, around the house, and in front of television, soon blossomed into performing in talent shows, and choirs. After vocal training, her music career was paused after giving birth to her oldest son, and awaiting the birth of her youngest son. During this time, She suffered two devastating losses. Her youngest sons father was murdered before she gave birth, and the oldest sons father was sentenced to 175 years in prison nearly six months afterward. This was a more than depressing time, and things didn't turn positive for a while. After finding employment at Walgreens, and moving into a new apartment, she soon learned to enjoy life again. She reinvented herself, becoming more ladylike, and nicknaming herself, "Queen". She began to sing again, and became a member of a local record label. LadyQueen was born! There, she learned to record, and write music. She Recorded her first project, "Welcome to The Queendom", and followed with her second entitled, "Best Kept Secret", which was a joint venture with Acey Baby of Chicago's Fam Team. LadyQueen performed throughout Indiana honing her craft, and skills. During the winter of 2012 she remixed King Louie's Val Venis, and began performing in the Chicagoland area. This was the birth of a new following, and also her third project, "Eminent Domain". Eminent Domain became a mixtape that was released March of 2013 at The Centered Chef (Downtown Chicago ) as a fashion show entitled, "Eminent Domain Runway Expansion". The show was sponsored by 1800 Tequila & 3 Olives Vodka. The fashion show was a success in many ways. Several local businesses were started/incorporated, business networking was encouraged, and most of the attending businesses grew. During the release of "Eminent Domain", LadyQueen left the local record label, and started LadyQueen, Inc. Since the birth of LadyQueen, Inc, LadyQueen has been booked for shows throughout Indiana, Illinois, Atlanta, and Florida.
