Where Is Hip-Hop as a Whole?

The saying goes everyone wants to be rapper, singer, producer, beat maker or just be a star.  But lets be real some of you should be fans of the music.... Everyone doesn't have the skills the drive or dedication to make genuinely enjoyable music.  It takes commitment, time, talent, and a love for music to be a great artist period.  In my opinion they should screen rappers like they screen new employees for a job most of you so called rappers would fail horribly.  Music should have a Message some type of meaning behind the words, it shouldn't be words over a beat.
So, the topic is Hip-Hop/Rap as a Whole?   Hip-Hop/Rap to me right now needs a face lift.  No disrespect but I don't wanna turn on my radio every time and hear Nicki  Minja or Rick Ross when I know that there are underground artist that got hotter shit that sound way better and would blow you out the water.... Although I'm happy be got Raw Radio on 92.3 fm it's only on once a week and that's not enough for me.... Hey what can i say except I miss the Tupac's, Biggie's, and the Pimp C's of music... Back when music was entertaining it told a story, I know I couldn't wait for my favorite artist CD to come out cause I knew that i got my moneys worth.  After listening to that CD over and over you knew all the songs but you also had your favorites.  But now its so much bullshit on the airways.  Let's keep this article 100 the most under-rated and hungriest artist make the best music because they are eager to make it in this game.  They hustle, promote and dedicate there lives to making hits. It seems to me when a artist not hungry anymore they stop making good music and they lose fans.
In the last two years the Midwest music scene has been crazy some of the most realist hard working artist are here but you wouldn't know that because unlike Atlanta our radio stations don't keep underground artist in rotation.  Young Platts, Mello tha Guddaman, Willie Bobo, Yoson Tala, Hoo Noz, Jay Balla, Number 1 Playaz,  Wayne Blazed, Beadz Jones, Sinatris, Kesh Kash, Mer-C, Temper, Mz Gogetta Alonna Deville, Rich Law, Marcus Breadman Hardy,Ben One, Al Koleon, David Roughin, Sam P., Bo Deal., Ladi C, Mz Sin Wild da General, and many others.  These artist represent what hard work dedication and a love for there craft can get you.  They work they ass off to make great music and they are so humble.  They are also why I started this blog because my love for music has open my eyes to the struggles but also the bullshit and fuckery that the music biz has.  In my standpoint the Midwest should have been on the map but until we as a whole come together and represent the midwest as a united front. The midwest talent will go unnoticed.
Last thing every time you turn on a radio put on your  favorite artist CD or mp3,  iPod you should fall in love with music... Music is good for the soul, it gets you  through the rough patches, heartache or bad day. I feel it is a artist responsibility to put out great music.  A artist goal should be to gain more fans.  As a fan of underground music i support the up and coming Femcees and Mc's of the Midwest i just hope they get there time to shine and show everyone in the world why I support them so much.

This is my first blog article, I hope you enjoy and plz leave comment and share with everyone .
